Tue 16 January 2024 View all news

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) has opened a new, collaborative R&D competition in which businesses can give their zero emission automotive project the chance to access up to 50% matched government funding from a total pot of £25 million.

UK-registered businesses can apply for match–funding for late-stage, collaborative research and development (CR&D) of automotive technology and processes. Eligible projects will support the UK’s transition towards zero emission vehicles by growing supply chain capability and automotive product manufacturing.

The aim of the competition is to support collaborative R&D projects that design, develop, and manufacture technology. These proposals will work towards delivering zero emission on-vehicle technologies for on or off-road vehicles, including two-wheelers.

See the Applicant Briefing Webinar which provided insight and guidance into submitting a strong application.

The application deadline for this competition is 13 March.
