Wed 30 May 2018 | Back to news list

Further speakers have been announced for the LowCVP's Annual Conference which will address what it's going to take to bring consumers on the zero emission transport journey. Don't miss the 'early bird' booking deadline of 1 June!
This year's Conference - 'People, Policy or Product? How far can consumers take the drive to low emissions' - will look at the most effective ways to motivate car buyers and ‘mobility consumers’ to change their choices for the better.
How do we capture people's imagination and tap into what’s important to them? Is it possible to break-up their love affair with their fossil energy-powered car; or create such strong demand for zero emission public and private mobility that it shapes the industry for many years to come?
Find out how experts view the ‘people, policy, product’ conundrum at the LowCVP’s 2018 Annual Conference.
Delegates will be welcomed at a VIP drinks reception which will take place immediately after the Conference.
Conference speakers include:
Keynote: Jesse Norman MP, transport minister, Department for Transport (invited)
Edmund King OBE, President, The AA
Dr Bob Moran, Head of Environment Strategy, Department for Transport
Ed Gillespie, Co-Founder, Futerra
Andy Eastlake, Managing Director, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership
Chris Perry, UK Lead, Maas Global
Martin Reeves, Lombard Vehicle Solutions
Also speakers from: The EV Experience Centre; Go Ultra Low (tbc); Green Alliance; IMechE; Transport and Environment (T&E);  Shell and others.
