Government grant for Johnson Matthey fuel cells project

A £3.2 million grant from the DTI will be used to develop fuel cell technology in a bid to make it a more efficient and economically viable energy source. The funding, awarded to Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells Ltd, aims to support the development and evaluation of new design approaches, materials and production processes for making membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for PEM fuel cells in large-scale automotive applications.
