The Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce will launch the report “Energising Our Electric Vehicle Transition” on Tuesday January 14
th in central London. The Taskforce is the widest collaboration between the energy supply, transport and mobility sectors along with government.
The agenda for the seminar has just been published.
It has been facilitated by the LowCVP, at the request of government, to maximise the benefits arising from the electric vehicle transition for motorists, the energy industry and wider society by capitalising on innovations including smart charging. The formation of the Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce was announced at the Prime Minister’s Zero Emission Vehicle Summit in September 2018.
The launch event - which will take place at One Birdcage Walk, Westminster from 2pm on 14
th January - will provide an opportunity to hear from Taskforce leaders, government and industry stakeholders about the opportunities arising from the electric vehicle transition and how the changes will impact on energy consumers, drivers, businesses and the wider energy system.
