Reseach & Development

ADL offers the market’s widest range of low, ultra low and zero emission buses. Low emission buses include include ADL’s award-winning SmartPack efficient diesel and SmartHybrid mild hybrid technologies as well as biogas buses. Hybrids and electric range hybrids capable of running up to three miles in zero emission mode are certified as ultra low emission buses. Battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses deliver sustainable zero emission mobility for all operational requirements. ADL is developing autonomous driving for buses and continues to invest in innovative lightweighting and passenger-centric interiors.
