  • Biomethane as a Transport Fuel

    There is growing interest in using natural gas and biomethane for transport under the Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation. According to the Natural Gas Vehicle Association there are already 1.2 million NGVs in use across the European Union.  In the UK there are over 700 gas-powered HGVs operated by leading household brands and many more lighter delivery vehicles running on natural gas.

  • This two-day event will provide an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and learn about smart solutions with leading taxi experts from across the world. The event will focus on international best practice and explore planning options for taxi regulators and operators.

  • The partners of IEA-TCP Taskforce 32 on Small Electric Vehicles (SEVs) are holding a workshop to discuss the challenges and issues surrounding SEV, and would like to invite stakeholders to participate in the discussion.

  • Following announcements that both industry and government are preparing for an electric future, International EV Batteries 2017 will bring cutting-edge technical updates from OEMs, researchers and regulators. The event will provide an opportunity to hear from mechanical engineers on how they are cost-effectively increasing range, enhancing performance and improving durability of electric and hybrid vehicles.   • LowCVP will host the third Low Emission Bus Workshop in Nottingham, discussing the challenges facing the city and the wider county and celebrating the achievements made in introducing Low Emission Bus technologies in the city. There will be speakers from: Nottingham City Council, Nottingham Community Transport, Nottingham City Transport, Leicester City Council and National Express Bus, as well as a range of exhibitors. The event is free to attend.

  • LoCITY Annual Conference

    Date: 07 Nov 2017

    The event will showcase the latest ultra low emission vehicles and technologies available for city fleets. The free-to-attend event will be held at London’s Alexandra Palace on Tuesday 7 November, with the latest clean, safe and quiet urban commercial vehicles and technologies on show in a full-day’s programme with top industry speakers.
