    The 9th annual Low Carbon Vehicle Event, LCV2016, organised by Cenex, is being held at Millbrook near Bedford in England, on the 14 and 15 September 2016. Cenex-LCV2016 Networking Dinner will collaborate with LowCVP to feature the Low Carbon Champions Awards for the third consecutive year. 

  • The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers and practitioners from the industry and academia and provide them with a platform to report on recent advances and developments in the newly emerging areas of powertrain modelling , control and calibration, as well as actual and potential applications in powertrain mapping and testing.

  • Commercial GreenFleet

    COMMERCIAL GreenFleet takes place on 1 July and brings together the experts and the technology to help make sense of the opportunities in this sector.

    With the Euro 6 emission requirement from this September, Clean Air Zones planned around the country, government support for vans extending, the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) are supporting COMMERCIAL GreenFleet to highlight the range of options and how to take the next steps in green fleet initiatives. The event takes place at  St Andrew’s Stadium (Birmingham City FC) and promised to be an informative gathering of professionals that can help commercial vehicle operations “go green”.

  • LowCVP Annual Conference 2016

    The LowCVP's 2016 Annual Conference will take place on Thursday 30 June 2016 at Here East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. The event will be supported by and held in association with the  Make the Future London exhibition and delegates will also have a VIP opportunity to see cars of the future in action at the Shell Eco-marathon.

  • European Bus Forum 2016

    The LowCVP's Managing Director Andy Eastlake is among the speakers at this year's European Bus Forum, which will be held in Manchester on June 23rd. Produced by Eurotransport and hosted by Transport for Greater Manchester, this one-day conference and gala dinner, offers opportunities for collaboration and networking. A 20% discount on delegate fees is available for LowCVP members.

  • The launch event of the new Digital Engineering & Test Centre will introduce you to the opportunities afforded to all enterprises in this space – embryonic and established, small; medium; and large, commercial and academic – by the collaborative projects and background research available to organisations taking up affiliation to the centre.

  • A workshop hosted by Transport Scotland for local authorities and fleet managers of commercial vehicles to discuss and highlight the potential role that gaseous fuels, vehicles and supporting infrastrucutre can play in contributing to tackling air quality and climate change. 

  • To help build new relationships and engage with potential suppliers, the Automotive Council and its partners are holding an event on to bring together the premium product manufacturers and the premium automotive vehicle manufacturers including Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Toyota, Nissan, Aston Martin and Bentley. The Meet the Buyer event will include a seminar session, exhibition area, ‘one to one’ introductory meetings with representatives from purchasing departments, aiming to connect innovative suppliers and potential buyers with specific requirements.

    In addition, potential suppliers will have an opportunity to showcase their innovation, conceptual design or new product to a wider audience in ‘Innovation Stand-Ups’ sessions.
