    This event will showcase the latest driveline and transmission innovations. Delve into the latest developments in hybrid technology and the electrification of drivelines. The seminar programme will provide an all-round perspective of the innovations and trends facing the industry including fuel economy, emissions reduction and improving driveability.

  • The UK is targeting that every new car manufactured will be zero emissions from 2040. In order to support the significant scale up required in Hybrid, Plug in Hybrid and Battery Electric Vehicle manufacturing, the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is working with industry and government to support the development of the Electric Vehicle Supply Chain.

  • This seminar will offer a unique opportunity to hear about how thought leaders in the automotive industry are adapting to comply with changing legislation.
    With guidance from the Department for Transport and insight from industry specialists in emissions testing, this seminar will highlight the unique challenges in remaining compliant with changing regulation. 
    Core issues to be addressed include the technical challenges facing engineers in meeting emissions targets, and the role that emissions testing procedure plays in this. Issues surrounding the standardisation of equipment and procedure as well as best practice in developing reports from the data shall also be addressed. 

  • Vehicle Thermal Management Systems Conference is dedicated to discussing the latest international developments in Vehicle Thermal Management Systems. In order to reduce emissions and make all vehicles more efficient, the event will showcase the latest research and technological advances in heat transfer, energy management, thermal comfort and the efficient integration and control of all thermal systems within the vehicle.

  • GreenFleet Scotland 2017

    GreenFleet Scotland will demonstrate the viability of ultra-low emission, plug-in, hybrid and electric vehicles to organisations looking to improve the efficiency of their fleet and transport operations and to address poor air quality caused by emissions from road transport.

  • The launch of the White Paper for Developing Sustainable, Multimodal Transport Solutions for Wales taking place on Wednesday 5 April at the National Assembly for Wales. At this free event presenters from the fields of arts, education, business and engineering will discuss the importance of public transport.

  • The Low Emission Bus Workshop taking place in Manchester on Thursday 30th March. The free event is designed for local authorities and bus operators to learn about the prevailing low emission bus policy framework in the UK as well as the real world operational experience of low emission bus technologies and fuels in the UK.

  • Cenex will be hosting a free-to-attend evening Networking Drinks Reception in Nottingham on Tuesday 7th February 2017 at Nottingham Contemporary (supported by Nottingham Go Ultra Low). The event is for anyone from the public or private sector who operates vehicles in and around Nottingham City and will provide opportunities to network with fellow fleet and vehicle operators, as well as representatives from Local Government, to discuss the various issues and opportunities that clean air zones pose for local businesses and logistics operators. This event will provide support and advice on how best to prepare for changes, and offer opportunities to share best practice and learning.
