The Low Carbon Champions Awards are designed to identify and promote examples of outstanding and innovative practice in accelerating the shift to lower carbon vehicles and fuels and reducing road transport emissions.

LowCVP are pleased to announce that the 2017 Low Carbon Champions Awards will be hosted by Energy 2017, which is held as part of UK Construction Week. This year's presentation gala dinner will take place at the Concourse Suites 1 & 2, NEC, Birmingham on the evening of Wednesday 11 October.

The Champions Awards will be preceded by a series of seminars at Energy 2017.  Run by the LowCVP, the seminars will take place under the headline The Electric Vehicle Revolution: Managing Impacts on the Powergrid during the afternoon immediately preceding the Awards dinner at the same venue. Speakers are already confirmed from National Grid, EA Technology, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, UK Power Networks and Drive Electric.
