The Electric Vehicle (EV) Energy Taskforce - the Government-backed initiative bringing together key players in the energy, infrastructure and transport sectors – is moving to take the next steps to drive the transition to electric vehicles while delivering benefits to EV drivers, consumers and to the UK’s electricity system. Leeds says CAZ no longer required; Bath & Birmingham CAZs get go-ahead
A review by Leeds City Council and the Government has found that Leeds Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is no longer required due to recent improvements in air quality in the city. Meanwhile, the Government has approved plans for CAZs to go live in Bath and Birmingham in 2021 following delays linked to Covid-19.
