To learn from international good practice to raise awareness and demand for the LowCVP’s accreditation scheme and its wider commercial vehicle technology evaluation activities.
To build on freight carbon review and AQ agendas
To bring together various green/smart/safe UK freight transport initiatives:
Map out their individual scopes
Identify synergies and opportunities to enhance/strengthen
Identify gaps and options to fill them
Identify what can be industry-led and where DfT could/should play a role
A report detailing findings and making recommendations to enhance UK freight activity.
