Promotion of the use of low cost aluminium and magnesium alloys in light weight vehicle structures suitable for the mass production of affordable vehicles with emissions of less than 100g CO2/km

Current or future activities / projects / initiatives in which Innoval Technology is involved in to encourage low carbon transport.

Innoval is co-ordinating three TSB projects based on novel aluminium and magnesium melt processing technology, developed at Brunel University aimed at producing high performance, low cost castings, extrusions and sheet products for automotive applications.
