Main areas of involvement in the low carbon transport agenda
Our main work for the low carbon transport agenda is to promote biomethane as the world's most environmentally friendly vehicle fuel and to educate policy makers who have been influenced by well funded pressure groups with vested interests to support fuels which are less enviromentally friendly than gaseous fuels because these liquid fuels are presently cheaper and more convenient. We actively encourage natural gas vehicles because we believe their adoption will lead the way to the use of biomethane as a vehcle fuel.
Current or future activities / projects / initiatives in which Organic Power Ltd is involved in to encourage low carbon transport.
During 2008 we intend to open the UK's first biomethane refuelling station and we will continue to operate and exhibit our gas vehicles throughout the UK and Europe.
