Main areas of involvement in the low carbon transport agenda

The Road Haulage Association(RHA)has been in existence since 1945 and represents the interests of operators of road transport especially in the "hire and reward" sector. The RHA has some 10,000 member companies ranging from the single vehicle owner driver to large national companies running many hundreds of vehicles.

The RHA is committed to reducing the environmental impact of its members' vehicles and works closely with the DfT sponsored Freight Best Practice programme in order to achieve this.
