The third annual Energy Saving Trust Fleet Hero Awards were launched at the end of March in partnership with Guardian, The Observer and Fleet News. The awards will recognise best practice in green fleet management and take place at the London Transport Museum on Tuesday, 14 October.
The Awards aim to recognise and showcase those businesses which have exceeded expectations in reducing carbon emissions from business travel as well as displaying best practice in fleet management. Applications are open to large and small, public and private fleet operators or suppliers and are due by 27 June. The EST has indicated that qualifying applicants will be asked to submit further information by the end of July. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London in the autumn and profiled in depth in the Guardian and The Observer.
