New online tool for fleet managers to monitor CO2 emissions More news
19 November 2007CAP Motor Research Ltd, experts in residual value data, is launching a new tool which will allow company car fleet managers to check the CO2 emissions of their vehicles and make comparisons to minimise CO2 impact.
The tool called the "Environmental Fleet Manager" reveals the environmental consequences of existing fleet policy and makes comparisons between vehicle's CO2 output. This will assist fleet managers in identifying the most carbon-efficient cars and car-derived vans within their chosen sector.
The tool, which can also be used to help determine carbon offset costs, is undergoing further development which is intended to provide a range of additional features due next year, including whole life cost integration.
