Deadline approaching for Round Three of Green Bus Fund Back to news search
15 January 2012Bidding is continuing for £20m available under Round Three of the Department for Transport's Green Bus Fund. The deadline for returned bids is Friday 10th February 2012.
The Green Bus Fund supports bus companies and local authorities in England to help them buy new low carbon buses. Its main purpose is to support and hasten the introduction of hundreds of low carbon buses across England.
Following the return of bids by Friday 10th February 2012, DfT says that grants for third round applicants must be paid by 31 March.
The LowCVP was closely involved with the DfT in the initial setup of the Green Bus Fund. (See associated link.)
