Call for papers on aspects of transport energy efficiency - eceee 2011 Summer Study More news
20 July 2010Proposals are now sought on subjects relating to low carbon and energy efficient transport policy and practice by the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee) which will hold its 10th Summer Study in southern France in June 2011. The transport panel is one of eight energy efficiency-related panels which will comprise the Summer Study.
The transport and mobility panel will be chaired by Jillian Anable (University of Aberdeen) and Caroline Watson (Energy Saving Trust). Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to:
- policies and practices which may accelerate fuel technology and behavioural transitions in the transport sector
- new business models for car ownership, use and mobility management
- the impact of urban and regional form on energy consumption in transport

The deadline for submission of abstracts is September 30th 2010.
