LowCVP activities at the party conferences More news
26 August 2009The LowCVP is participating in three fringe meetings to be held under the auspices of the Climate Clinic with one event at each of the upcoming party conferences in September and early-October. The Climate Clinic is a collaboration between 21 organisations; a forum where party leaders, ministers, renowned scientists, opinion formers, environmentalists, low-carbon associations, business leaders and the public come together to debate the issues and spotlight the solutions to the problem of climate change.
The events in which the LowCVP is involved are all on the subject: "If technology can't fix it, could moving around less make us happier and help save the planet?"
They will take place on 22nd September (17.45-19.00) - LibDem Conference, Climate Clinic, Bournemouth; 28 September (12.45-14.00) - Labour Conference, Climate Clinic, Brighton; 6 October (12.45-14.00) - Conservative Conference, Climate Clinic, Manchester.
