The Rushlight Awards 2008 promote and celebrate the leading environmental technologies and innovations by organizations throughout UK and Ireland. With 27 separate categories covering renewable energy, clean fuels, power generation, water, waste and pollution management, these awards will highlight the technologies and innovations that are shaping the energy, transport, environment and industry sectors in the future. If you have developed a technology or innovation that is pertinent to one of these categories, you can enter.

Headline partners and sponsors are Institute of Physics, Black & Veatch, E-Synergy and Kilburn & Strode, assistance from the Manufacturing, Materials and Environment Unit of BERR, Scottish Enterprise, The Welsh Assembly Govt, Action Renewables of Northern Ireland and over 50 trade associations, institutes and agencies, the Rushlight Awards are the leading awards in the environment, energy and waste field. The awards dinner is on 22 January 2009 at the New Connaught Rooms in London.
